LANSDOWNE SCHOOL
TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION SECURED. NORMAL HOURS BEING RESUMED. Arrangements have now been completed for the accommodation of the Lansdowne School pupils, and normal school hours will be resumed on Monday next. The infants are housed in the Presbyterian Church hall at the corner of Totara Street and Te Ore Ore Road. Standards 1 and 2 will occupy the class room behind the school until such time as it is required for hospital use. The kiosk in the Park has been taken over for the use of Standard 3. Standard 4 and Forms 1 and 2 will occupy the x Lansdowne Golf Club’s pavilion. Parents of pupils are asked to note Hie arrangements made, and to co-op-erate by sending the children regularly to school. Unless the good attendance of the pupils is maintained the staffing of the school will be seriously affected. Great inconvenience has been caused to all concerned by the taking over of the school as a hospital, and it is to be hoped that every effort will be made to vacate the school in time for the opening of the third term on September 7. - •
