ESTABLISHMENT IN CUBA

The Secretary of State, Senor Jose Cortina, announced that Cuba has authorised the United States to establish a great supply depot in Cuba to provide the entire Caribbean area with essential products. Wherever possible, supplies will be purchased in Cuba and otherwise will be imported, duty free, from the United States,

The Associated Press of America says the project appears to be part of a general plan to minimise the submarine danger through shorter hauls.
