INEFFECTIVE RAID
MADE BY NAZI PLANE ON ICELAND.

United States, military authorities at Reykjavik announced that a German Focke-Wulf bombed a remote military installation in south-eastern Iceland yesterday. The damage was negligible, and there were no casualties.
Iceland is about 700 miles from Norway, the nearest German-occupied territory.
