MOTICE is hereby given that the Castlepoint County Council intends, at its next meeting, to make and levy the following general rates for the year commencing on April 1, 1942, and ending on March 31, 1943, upon the Capital Value (as reduced by twentyfive per centum thereof) of all rateable property in the County of Castlepoint as appearing on the Valuation Rolls of the said County for the said period:— In the North Riding, a general rate of two pence in the pound. In the South Riding, a general rate of one and seven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. In the East Riding, a general rate of one and nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. In the West Riding, a general rate of one and seven-eighths of a penny in the pound. That such general rate shall be payable at the Castlepoint County office at noon on the 17th day of August, 1942, and that a rebate of 3} per centum will be allowed on the general rate if demand is paid in full within thirty days from the date thereof.
