HOMING PIGEONS
MASTERTON CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. I The annual meeting of the Masterton Homing Pigeon Club was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs W. Miller. I I The following officers were elected I for the ensuing year: —President, Mr ;J. Mayes: secretary, Mr lan Mayes; j treasurer, Mr W. Miller. Votes of thanks were passed to the Press, to the donors of cups and trophies and to the judges at the winter shows. Special reference was made to the work carried out by Mr R. Stewai t in the making cf the show pens. At the close of the meeting supper was provided by Mrs Miller. Mr J. Mayes in thanking Mrs Miller for her hospitality, presented her with : a small gift from the members, in ap- . preciation of the splendid service she . had rendered the club over the past two years. Mrs Miller suitably replied. „ —
