In a rural locality somewhere in Australia three thousand Australian workers are building one of the latest explosive factories in the Southern Hemisphere. When completed, it will cost four and a half millions. In a year a miniature city of more than thousand separate buildings has sprung up. Over 14,000 workers, including 8,000 women, will be employed in this factory, making explosives for Australia’s fighting forces.
