ATTACKS ON EIGHT TOWNS IN MIDLANDS. HIGH EXPLOSIVES FOLLOW FIRE BOMBS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, July 31. Eight Midlands towns suffered from high-explosives and incendiaries last night. The raiders followed their usual practice. Many hundreds of fire-bombs were dropped and then high explosives. A low-flying raider machine-gunned streets in one town.
