It is reported that Yugoslav patriots killed 4000 Italian troops in an engagement near Kosnan. Greek guerillas recently liberated 300 British prisoners of war from Libya when en route to German prison camps. There are now 4500 British troops fighting with Greek guerillas. The Russian news agency says it is reported from Geneva that the success of the guerillas and increased sabotage has necessited a conference at Sofia of German, Italian, Hungarian, Croatian, and Bulgarian railway administrations. Guerillas in occupation of many Balkan districts have compelled trains going to Germany to make a detour.
