GRAF SPEE CREW
ESCAPES FROM INTERNMENT IN ARGENTINA. OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.20 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, July 28. A Parliamentary committee will investigate whether official laxity caused the escape of interned officers and other members of the crew of the Graf Spee. It is officially admitted that 128 have escaped out of 1,005 interned. The Argentine Government is preparing a report on the status of the crew of the Graf Spee, at the request of the British Embassy.
