ENEMY TRAWLER

SUNK IN THE CHANNEL, ANOTHER HEAVILY DAMAGED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) RUGBY, July 28. The Admiralty reports: "Our light naval forces intercepted two enemy armed trawlers, which were at once engaged. One enemy trawler was sunk, The other was heavily damaged and made off towards the coast under cover of smoke. “At daylight today one of our patrols was subjected to air attack, but only minor damage was suffered and there were no casualties.”
