TWENTY PATIENTS

1 ACCOMMODATED IN LANSDOWNE SCHOOL. FORTY BEDS AVAILABLE. Lansdowne School is now in full possession of ■ the Wairarapa Hospital Board. At present 20 soldier patients are accommodated in the school. The transfer of these patients from the Masterton Hospital has considerably relieved the congestion there. Another favourable circumstance is that the general position regarding sickness has not become any worse since a decision was made to take over the school. At present the school is equipped with beds, etc., sufficient for 40 patients.
