MOSLEMS WARNED
AGAINST CONGRESS POLICY DANGEROUS SITUATION. APPEAL BY CHIANG KAI-SHEK. The president of the Moslem League, Dr Jinnah, warned Moslems against becoming involved in the proposed civil disobedience movement. He declared that the pronouncements of Mahatma Gandhi and the other Congress leaders had created a most dangerous situation in India. Colonel Yee has arrived at Simla carrying a message from Marshal Chiang Kai-shek appealing to the Congress leaders to postpone their civil disobedience plans because they were bound to affect the Allied war effort.
