Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. yesterday:—Barograph, 30.11; shade temperalure, maximum 46, minimum 40.5; terrestrial, 39.2; sunshine, nil; rain, 5 points. Mr Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.16; shade temperature, maximum 45.2, minimum 39; terrestrial, 37; sunshine, nil; rain, 2 points. Mr 11. M. Boddington reports that 7 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday, and 2 points for a similar period ended today. PHASES OF THE MOON. JULY. Full moon, July 28.
