This explains the limited British gams m the centre, where fighting is violent. The Germans are bearing the brunt of defence and counter-attacks in all sectors. Reports from Berlin refer to strong British forces repeatedly and very heavily attacking. The Berlin radio says: The British have succeeded in stemming our advance.
