The cost of gun production in Canada is falling. A report of the House of Commons Sub-Committee on War Expenditure shows that the cost of the Bren light machine-gun dropped from 390 dollars to 192 dollars between March, 1941, and March, 1942. The 303 Browning which cost 402 dollaifs in November, 1941, cost 220 dollars in April, 1942. The Number 4 Lee Enfield rifle, which cost 97 dollars in September, 1941, cost 47 dollars in April, 1942.
