ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
DANCE IN MUNICIPAL HALL. The dance held in the Municipal Hall on Saturday night by the St. John Ambulance Association attracted a large attendance of the public and the fund for sending Christmas parcels to members of the brigade benefited considerably. , , Jack Barnes’s Orchestra played the dance music and Messrs C. S. McQuade and K. H. Dean proved able M’s.C. Mr McQuade expressed the thanks of the association to those present and announced that another dance would be held on August 15. The winners of competitions were. Monte Carlo, Miss McEwen and Private R. E. A. Ross; Lucky Spot, Miss B. Harding and Private Alex. Lamb.
