ATTACK ON TOBRUK
MADE BY HEAVY BOMBERS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, July 19. A Middle East communique states: “During the night our heavy bombers attacked Tobruk. Air activity over Malta was on a reduced scale. From all operations three of our aircraft are missing, but one pilot is safe.”
