GREYTOWN
AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE TRIBUTE TO BUSINESS FIRMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Greytown is beginning to settle down after the earthquake but there is a considerable amount of work to be carried cut before residents are back again to normal comforts and conveniences. Business firms have displayed excellent ability in meeting the situation and this is further evidence of their keenness and foresight in serving the interests of the residents of Greytown. Warm tributes are paid to local businessmen for the manner in which they have faced the difficult position created by the earthquake. i Dance Postponed. The southern hockey dance which was to have been held at Greytown tonight has been postponed. Hospitality appreciated. Soldiers, airmen and naval men visiting Greytown express their appreciation of'the hospitality extended, to them by local residents and organisations. Particular reference is made to the kindness extended to members of the forces by the action of residents in inviting them to private homes and providing for their entertainment. The men of the forces will always cherish memories of the many kindnesses extended to them by the people of Greytown. TOWN HALL “FLIGHT COMMAND.” The thrilling picture, “Flight Command,” will be shown tonight, featuring Robert Taylor, Ruth Hussey, Walter Pidgeon and Paul Kelly. There will also be shown a March of Time, “Thumbs Up Texas.”
