It- was made clear at a meeting of the Pacific War Council today that all. fronts are one front. The council’s main topic of discussion was Egypt. Mr Walter Nash, New Zealand, said afterward that operations in the Middle East had a profound effect on the Pacific area, and in the present activities General Auchinleck had brought the battle to a stage where it was reasonably even.
