SALE OF DAIRY COWS. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report as follows on a clearing sale of dairy cows held yesterday on account of Mr Alex Ross, “Glenview,” Longbush: The cows came forward in average condition to a small attendance of buyers, the latter being, no doubt, due to the bad weather conditions. August and September calvers realised towards the £9 mark, late calvers and .empty cows pulling the aveiage down somewhat. Dairy heifers were slow of sale. The following prices will serve to indicate values: August calvers £ll 10s, ’£lo to £7; September calvers, £lO 10s, £8 10s to £6 10s.
