INDOOR BASKETBALL
— — INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION. RESULTS OF LAST NIGHT’S GAMES Indoor basketball was seen at its best last evening when a further series of games were ■played in the Wairarapa Interhouse Association championship. Codys, who played a very open game, defeated Lancers. Another'surprise was the result of the game between Banks and Garages which ended in a draw, 16 points each. The following are the results of the various games:—Rangers 12, Sparklets 4; W.F.C.A. 12, State Kitchenette A 0: McKenzies 10, United 7; Codys 8, Lancers 4; A.S.C. 11, A.T.C. 6; Garages 16, Banks 16; W.F.C.A. B 2, Rangers 0; Cathies 8. McDuffs 8; State Kitchenette C 4, Vesta Batteries 0; Post and Telegraph 2, Woolworths 0. The games were all put through on time and the thanks of the association are extended to the officials, Messrs G. Davis (scorer) and F. Stains (time-keeper). The referees for the games was Mr D. Costello, assisted by Lance-Corporal Nettlefold.
