+ ATTITUDE OF CHURCH “FIVE POINTS” ADOPTED. ANGLICAN SYNOD DECISION. (By Telegraph—Press ' Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington Diocesan Synod last night unanimously decided to commend to the sympathetic consideration and study of church people the “five points” of leaders of the Churches in England. A motion to this effect was moved by Canon D. J. Davies. The five points are: First: Extreme inequality of wealth should be abolished. Second: Every child, regardless of race and class, should have equal opportunities of education suitable to its capacities. Third: The family as the social unit must be safeguarded. Fourth: The; sense of divine vocation must be restored to man’s daily work. Fifth: The earth’s resources should be used for the whole human race.
