PITCHED BATTLES
BEING FOUGHT IN BOSNIA. ITALIANS ADMIT HEAVY LOSSES. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) ISTANBUL, July 13. Yugoslav diplomatic circles learn that pitched battles are being fought in Bosnia between Serbian forces under General Mikhailovitch and the Second Italian Army, which is supported from the air. An Italian communique published in Croatia reports almost continuous fighting since the spring against Serbian Chetniks. It admits that the Italians have suffered heavily.
