CAIRO OFFICIAL REPORT. DUST LIMITS AIR ACTIVITIES. (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) t LONDON, July 13. A Cairo communique reports: “Our troops in the northern sector drove off an attack in the north-western area of the positions we occupied in our recent attack. Our battle groups and artillery in the southern sector harassed the enemy. “Dust interfered with air operations, but fighters carried out protective sweeps. Fighter-bombers attacked targets in the battle area and shot down two Axis planes. “The enemy has continued air attacks on Malta, losing three fighters. “One of our planes is missing from all these operations.”
