BRITISH NAVAL CHIEF: VICE ADMIRAL SIR C. GORDON RAMSEY, K.C.B., C.B. Admiral Ramsey entered the Royal Navy in 1897. He served in the 1914-18 war and was mentioned in Battle of Jutland despatches. In 1933 he became A.D.C. to H.M. King George V. From 1935-37 he was Rear Admiral of the Second Battle Squadron.
