NAZI DEFENCE
OF FRENCH ATLANTIC COAST MORE TALK OF THE USE OF ITALIANS. REPORTED STAFF TALKS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 5. A message from Geneva reports that Italian and German staff talks at present are going on at Rome. This is believed to be concerned with the strengthening of the defences on the French Atlantic coast and the dispatch of 500,000 Italian troops to the French coast.
