Declaring that General Mihailovitch’s Serbian guerillas in Bosnia had finally been defeated, the Rome radio said: “Bosnia may now be considered free of rebel and British influence,” and added that Italian Alpine divisions had killed, wounded or captured 1,800 guerillas in one area alone. Valuable equipment, including radio transmitters, was captured.
