LIFE OF PARLIAMENT

EXTENSION BILL THIS WEEK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Bill providing for the extension of the life of Parliament in terms of the agreement reached between the leaders of the political parties is expected to be the main business coming before the House of Representatives this week. The House will resume its sittings tomorrow night. No indication has been given as to when the Bill will be introduced,’but there is a likelihood that it will be brought down on Wednesday or Thursday night. Its advent is awaited with considerable interest both in regard to its contents and the discussion which may eventuate. It is expected ’ that a short Finance Bill will also be brought down before the session finishes at the end of the week.
