Shade temperature: Maximum 61.8, minimum 49, terrestrial 45. Sunshine, nil. Rain, 19 points. Mr Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30. Shade temperature: Maximum 68.2, minimum 49.9, terrestrial 42.2. Sunshine, 4 hours 24 minutes. Rain, 23 points. Mr H. M. Boddington. reports that 22 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday, and 25 points for a similar period today. PHASES OF THE MOON. JULY. Third quarter, July 5.
