Shade temperature: Maximum 68.2, minimum 49.9, terrestrial 42.2. Sunshine, 4 hours 24 minutes. Rain, 23 points. Mr H. M. Boddington. reports that 22 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday, and 25 points for a similar period today. PHASES OF THE MOON. JULY. Third quarter, July 5.
