ON BRITISH WAR CABINET. AND THE PACIFIC COUNCIL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) RUGBY, July 3. The appointment of Indians to the War Cabinet and the Pacific War Council in London is announced from the India Office, which says the British Government’s invitation to the Government of India to this effect has been accepted. The Governor-General-in-Council has accordingly nominated Sir Ramaswami Mudaliar for this purpose, and has suggested to the Crown representative that he should invite a member of the Order of Princes to join Sir R. Mudaliar in representing India at the War Cabinet and on the Pacific War Council. The Governor-General-in-Council has invited the Maharaja Jam Sahib of Nawanagar to serve for the present in this capacity, and his Highness has accepted the invitation.
