SOLWAY RAINFALL
RECORD FOR JUNE. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that rain was measured at Solway on 13 days in June, the maximum fall was 73 points on the Ist, ant the minimum 1 point on the 11th. The total rain for the month was 1.93 inches, as against 504 <19411, 1.10 (1940), 3.00 (1939), 2.89 (1938), 3.56 (1937). The average for 39 years is 3GO inches. The total rainfall for six months is 22.54 inches. as compared with 24.07 (1941), 15.26 (1940), 10.56 (1939), 25.20 (1938), 17.04 (1937). The average for 39 years is 19.16 inches.
