BRITISH CONVOY
ATTACKED OFF COAST OF PORTUGAL. BY ENEMY SUBMARINE AND AIRCRAFT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) LISBON, July 1. An Axis submarine and aircraft are reported to have attacked a British convoy, escorted by a warship, for forty minutes on Tuesday, off the southern Portuguese coast. The result of the action is unknown.
