IN PROGRESS IN KURSK AREA Number of Attacks Beaten Off by Russians SOVIET AIR FORCE PLAYING BIG PART IN OPERATIONS POSITION AT SEBASTOPOL REMAINS GRAVE LONDON, June 30. Reports from the Russian front today indicate that while the Germans are intensifying’ their drive from Kursk, fighting has died down on the Kharkov front. A fierce tank battle is reported at Kursk. The Russian Air Force is playing a big part in the operations. Reuter’s correspondent says the Russians have beaten off a number of attacks. The Russians are still holding out at Sebastopol, though the position there remains grave.
