CANADIAN AIRMAN AT MALTA TWO DESTROYED ON ONE NIGHT. FOR SECOND TIME IN FOUR DAYS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 29. ■ An achievement by a Canadian pilot, at Malta, who destroyed two enemy bombers on one night for the second time in four days, was a feature of Sunday night’s activity, when a few raiders dropped bombs near an aerodrome. British night fighters chased the raiders away, bringing down three of them. Tire Canadian’s first victim plunged into the sea before it was able to return the fire, while the second was encountered at almost the same spot and also hit the sea in flames.
