SMASHED BY RUSSIANS IN KURSK SECTOR FIGHTING FIERCE AS EVER AT SEBASTOPOL. SOME ENEMY PROGRESS MADE AT HEAVY COST. LONDON, June 29. The Russians have smashed heavy German tank attacks in the Kursk sector. At Sebastopol the enemy has thrown in reserves, but attacks have been beaten off. Fighting is exceptionally fierce. The enemy has made some advance, though at heavy cost. There is no material change on other sectors of the front.
