OUR MEN OVERSEAS
VISITED IN SCOTLAND BY THE HIGH COMMISSIONER. AIRMEN & NAVAL PERSONNEL. (Special P.A. Correspondent.) (Received This Day, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, June 29. The New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr W. J. Jordan) met a num her of New Zealanders during his recent visit to training stations in Scotland, including the following instructors: Flight Lieutenants L. S. Dobbin, Gpunake; R. J. Neal, Marlborough; Flying Officers C. W. Evans, Wanganui and J. Joll, D.F.C., New Plymouth; Pilot Officer A. B. Chitty, Hamilton; Warrant Officers R. B. Eerney, D.F.M., Masterton; F. C. Fox, Napier; A. G. Russell, Dunedin; Flight Sergeants E. Johnson, Auckland; E. A. Townsend, ■Wellington; Sergeants G. Stevens, Marton; N. G. Cromie, Canterbury; R. L. Somerville, Dunedin; B. Wisely, Christchurch; C. P. Lund, Auckland. Mr Jordan also met the following taking courses: Pilot Officer C. D. Dobson, Hawarden; Sergeants K. Smith, Auckland; F. E. Gatland, Papakura, G. L. Kennedy, Wellington: J. A. Morgan, Whakatane; C. Newlove, Nelson; E. Perks, Onehunga; L. J. Waterhouse, Te Kauwhata; W. F. C. King, Taihape; Pilot Officer L. M. Mason and Sergeants D. J. Tottman, A. C. Williamson and J. F. Garland. . Many of these airmen took part m the thousand-plane raid on Bremen. Mr Jordan also met Assistant Section Officer D. M. Wilson, of Hanmer Springs, who is a catering officer. She has been a member of the W.A.A.F. for 2| years. Other New Zealanders Mr Jordan met were Surgeon Lieutenant-Com-mander A. C. Horne, R.N., Auckland; Lieutenant R. Carleton Munro, Christchurch; Ordinary Seamen H. L. Armstrong, Invercargill, R- A. Waters, Auckland, and Sub-Lieutenant J. W. Simpson.
