MR CHURCHILL ADDRESSES CONGRESS LEADERS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. SPECIAL MEETING OF PACIFIC COUNCIL. • LONDON, June 25. Mr Churchill today spoke to Congress leaders behind closed doors at White House. He gave a 40 minute review of the general war situation. Congress leaders came out of the conference room with sealed lips. The Speaker of the House of Representatives said that many of the details discussed were of a military nature. The Libyan phase of the war was considered in some detail and the question of a second European front was mentioned incidentally. A special meeting of the Pacific War Council was held today. The Canadian Prime Minister, Mr Mackenzie King, made a special visit to Washington to attend. Mr Nash, New Zealand.-' Minister in Washington, was also present.
