ONCE AGAIN

STRONG BOMBER FORCE RAIDS EMDEN TARGETS IN OCCUPIED AREAS ALSO ATTACKED. ESCORTED BOSTONS RAID DUNKIRK. LONDON, June 23. Last night the chief target of the R.A.F. was again the great German port of Emden. A strong force of bombers concentrated their attack and it was all over in less than an hour. We lost six bombers during the night’s raids, which included attacks on enemy airfields and other military targets in Northern France and the Low Countries. The crew of one bomber reported missing were rescued from the sea. Bombers escorted by Spitfires attacked the docks at Dunkirk. Bombs hit the docks and quayside. All our planes got back.
