FEATHERSTON
PATRIOTIC SOCIETY EUCHRE PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) An enjoyable time was spent at tne Patriotic Society’s euchre party yesterday afternoon, the winner , being Miss Eva Card. . Donations were received from Mrs Lang and Mrs Elliot. The competition winners were Mrs A. W. Edwards and Miss Goodnck. Personal Items. Mrs A. Schenkel is spending a brief visit ot Auckland. Mrs Saxton. Senr., New Plymouth, is visiting her daughter, Mrs H. R. Bloxam. The death occurred at Hawera recently of Mr Joseph Tidswell, a former resident of Featherston, at the age of 82 years. Mr T. Tidswell, of Featherston, is a brother. COSY THEATRE “BRIGHAM YOUNG.” Tomorrow night there will be shown “Brigham Young, Frontiersman,” a thrilling story of the Mormon trek to Utah. The leading roles are taken by Tyrone Power, Linda Darnell, Dean Jagger and Brian Donlevy.
