It is revealed in Simla that a gang of dacoits held up the rail-motor - near Kalka, killing one air force and two army officers, also the native driver, and injuring four other passengers. The dacoits placed boulders on the track, and opened fire when the motor pulled up. They ordered all purses to be handed over to them, and then made off for the hills, where they are being hunted.
