SQUADRON LEADER MALFROY AWARDED DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS. FORMER NEW ZEALAND TENNIS CHAMPION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, June 19. Squadron Leader C. E. Malfroy has been awarded the D.F.C. Squadron Leader Malfroy is well known in tennis circles in New Zealand. Some years ago he won the New Zealand men’s singles championship at Christchurch, and he has been men's champion in Wellington and Wairarapa on more than one occasion. He represented New Zealand in a Davis Cup contest in England.
