Luxford, S.M., on the prevalence of veneral disease, the Minister of Public Health, Mr Nordmeyer, said he was aware of the position and it was causing great concern. Officers of the Health Department were making every effort, within the existing law, to clean up the evil, but it was possible that more stringent regulations might have to be considered.
