CALL ON MANPOWER

AMERICAN MOBILISATION FIGURES. MILITARY AND INDUSTRIAL SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) RUGBY, June 19. The War Manpower Commission in the United States says men in armed forces of the United States will number six to seven millions by the end of 1943, and eventually will total ten millions. The commission estimates that twenty million workers will be needed in war production and transportation by 1944, and that twelve million men or women will be needed to harvest the 1943 crops.
