OBITUARY

MR ARTHUR I. GEDDES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. The death has occurred, after an intermittent illness of Mr Arthur I. Geddes, aged 66. He was prominent in Rugby circles throughout the Dominion, a past-president of the New Zealand Rugby Union (1922-23), a Dominion selector and connected with Southland Rugby for over forty years. He was also a keen bowler and an active member of the Masonic Order. A widow, one son, Bert Geddes, the All Black three-quarter, and two daughters survive him.
