MAN’S LEG BROKEN
ACCIDENT AT MASTERTON STORE While engaged in loading bales of wool packs at the store of the New Zealand F.C.D. Co., Ltd. store in Masterton yesterday, Harold Phelps, a storeman, suffered a fracture of the right leg. It is understood that a bale, weighing about 500Ibs, rolled over and his leg was caught between it and another bale. Mr Phelps was admitted to the Masterton Hospital. He resides at West Street, Greytown.
