REPORTED BY GERMANS IN SOUTHERN RUSSIAN AREAS. SOVIET TROOPS TAKING HEAVY TOLL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, June 16. The Berlin radio states: “Russians, supported, by warships, attempted to land at Eupatoria and Yalta Mariupol but were beaten off.” A Moscow communique says: “There were no changes of importance on the whole front last night, but the Russians are taking a heavy toll of the enemy on the Kharkov and Sebastopol fronts.”
