ALFREDTON

YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB MONTHLY MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance oi members and farmers at the monthly meeting of the Alfredton Young Farmers’ Club. Mr C. Hay gave a very interesting talk on sheep dogs. He dealt with the care and handling of a sheep dog and the vices in dogs. He said that in his opinion there was no harm in letting a dog go pig hunting or even rabbiting as it brought out the dogs intelligence. At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr W. Heckler moved a vote of thanks to Mr Hay, which was carried by acclamation.
