Successful low-level attacks by Spitfires on enemy vessels are reported by the Air Ministry, which says a squadron of the Fighter Command this morning flew at wave-top height to a point near Dieppe and along the coast to St. Valery, on the River Caux, where a motor-launch and a baige were attacked with cannon and. mach-ine-gun fire. The launch was left sinking. A similar attack was later made, by the same squadron, on a motor minesweeper. Many hits were seen on the vessel. ______ _____
