SECOND AMBULANCE
PRESENTED BY JEWISH WOMEN TO ARMED FORCES FOR USE IN DOMINION. FOLLOWING ON GIFT FOR MIDDLE EAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Representatives of the Jewish women of Wellington this morning presented to the Armed Forces, through the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) and Minister of Defence <Mr Jones) a trailer ambulance for use in this country. Recently the Jewish women of New Zealand presented a fullyequipped ambulance for the Middle East. The Ministers expressed the warm thanks of the Government and the Armed Forces. The trailer comes from a surplus of enthusiastic support accorded in Wellington to the Middle East ambulance when the call was made. It has been assigned to the Fortress Field Ambulance.
