WEDDING

0 MALCOLM—LAING. The marriage took place at Knox Church, Masterton, recently, of Josephene Gordon, twin daughter of Mr and Mrs Gordon Laing, and Sergeant Pilot Edward Victor- Malcolm, eldest son of Mr and Mrs VA A. Malcolm, of New Plymouth. The ceremony was performed by the Rt. Rev. John Davie. The bride was attired in a powderblue ensemble with hat and shoes to match and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of sweet peas and maidenhairfern. She was attended by her sister, Judith, as chief bridesmaid, and the bridegroom’s sister Alicante. Eoth were attired in frocks of grey and carried bouquets of cyclamen and maidenhairfern. The bridegroom was attended as best man by Leading Aircraftman lan Blain, of Palmerston North, and Pte. L. Harvey, New Plymouth, was groomsman. A reception was held at the residence I of the bride’s parents, after- which Sergeant Pilot and Mrs Malcolm left by ear for the south.
